Overview We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute keys and room assignments, and answer general inquiries to ensure an excellent stay. Responsibilities Communicate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are ready. Perform regular bookkeeping duties: keep hotel guest information current and correct. Provide a warm welcome, check guests in and out, and ensure correct keys and room numbers are issued. Manage room bookings in-person, online, and via phone, and answer inquiries about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs. Field customer complaints when necessary. Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees (e.g., wedding guests). Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate. Manage online and phone reservations. Qualifications Well-versed in handling telephone calls and managing stressful situations. 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred. Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems. Excellent time management, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
