ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Avaya is seeking a highly motivated and thorough individual to join as a product owner (aka Agile / Scrum Lead). You will be part of an Agile team of cross functional and dedicated squad members (software engineers, business analysts, Architects etc.  Quarterback prospecting, closing, and management activities on your accounts, from staffing projects to drafting SOWs to providing delivery oversight and ensuring client satisfaction.  Senior Consultants play an active part in the delivery of Avaya’s full portfolio, including workshops and consulting projects.  This role contributes to the execution of Avaya’s overall sales strategies and business plans by leading on our client engagements alongside the wider Client Delivery team.  Applying knowledge and expertise in contributing to assets such as insights, thought leadership, and client proposals and collaborating with stakeholders.  Builds and maintains positive relationships with all key stakeholders across the organization by fostering collaborative ways of working, based on trust, transparency, and respect.  Proactively uses the client relationships they develop to identify sales opportunities and in passing to the relevant client / sales lead to manage the conversion.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven ability to take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic goals into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered.
• 5-10 years of consulting and account management experience at a top-tier professional services or management consulting firm.
• Proven track record of growing a portfolio by selling large, complex, multi-phase, managed technology projects to enterprise clients within the healthcare vertical.
• A well-rounded understanding of emerging technologies and ability to have an informed discussion about software delivery and development concepts with prospective clients.
• Professional maturity, poise, and executive presence – you’re a masterful storyteller with experience building long-term client relationships and influencing at the C-level.
• Experience negotiation and building strategic roadmaps of complex service agreements for enterprise accounts
• Successful healthcare background, personally conducting negotiations on a medium to large scale across the healthcare industry or you are from a leading consulting company.
• Highly developed interest in the field of negotiation.
• Must have a high degree of comfortability with public speaking and/or presenting in front of groups.
• Enjoy working with business leaders and keeping up to date with both your clients’ businesses and wider industry news.
• Not scared of technology or multi-tasking. You like to be in control and highly organized. You are flexible when issues occur, think on your feet and solve problems whilst keeping your cool.
• Growth mindset and are driven to take responsibility for your self-development and seek out learning opportunities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Working in a fast-paced global organization, ability to collaborate with remote teams is a must.

Preferred:

• Contact Center Knowledge and Architecture Design preferred
• Strong presenter of documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience with market leading public Cloud solutions (AWS, Google, Azure) is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree is required for this role.

COMPENSATION

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
