Financial Analyst

Remote for TX, AZ, NC, SC, KY, IN, FL, GA, or TN

 

Location: Remote – Open to candidates residing in TX, AZ, NC, SC, KY, IN, FL, GA, or TN

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard Business Hours

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)

Pay Range: $32/hr. (+- BOE)

 

Overview:

Cornerstone is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a dynamic finance team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring 1–2 years of financial analysis experience along with hands-on exposure to Oracle NetSuite ERP and Oracle Cloud Hyperion Planning. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial planning and analysis initiatives while supporting critical business functions.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support core Finance, Legal, and Compliance activities during a temporary coverage period.
• Partner with Accounting to manage and coordinate month-end close tasks.
• Perform cost and allocation analysis related to employee benefits and stock-based compensation.
• Track and forecast spending for major company initiatives and events.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting and forecasting.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a financial analyst or related role.
• Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite ERP and Oracle Cloud Hyperion Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
