Soil Conservation Service is seeking an enthusiastic Environment Field Officer to undertake a broad variety of fieldwork activities, technical assessments, and reporting relating to civil construction and assisting in natural area management. There may be other opportunities to learn and contribute to the construction of soil and water conservation earthworks including environmental, river, and catchment management projects.
Desirable: Cert III in Civil Construction or natural resource management qualifications; willingness to gain hands-on experience in delivering environmental projects; willingness to learn project management principles and operation of earth moving and associated machinery.
