About the Opportunity

Join a growing healthcare management and medical billing company that's revolutionizing how private pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy practices operate We're seeking an experienced Authorization & Eligibility Specialist to support multiple pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy clinics across the US from the comfort of your Florida home. This role requires someone to primarily facilitate authorizations and eligibility and must be extremely detail oriented, strong work ethic, efficient, and able to learn quickly and execute with precision.

Compensation: $16.00/hour with growth potential to $20.00/hour based on performance and expertise. After 2 years of successful employment, there may be room for growth beyond $20.00 based on skillset and ability to take on additional medical billing functions.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM ET
Location: Remote MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF FOLLOWING STATES BASED ON EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: FLORIDA, MARYLAND, VIRGINIA, IDAHO

What You'll Do

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy patients
• Submit and track therapy authorization requests with insurance companies
• Handle daily insurance calls and follow-ups
• Calculate patient responsibility and create good faith estimates
• Perform accurate data entry into EMR systems
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of authorization/eligibility experience in private practice pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy clinics
• Strong background in rehabilitation benefits (NOT behavioral health)
• Proven track record of reliability and job retention
• Experience with insurance portals and EMR systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Fusion Web Clinic - Ensora Health EMR system
• Pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy practice experience
• Medical billing background

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:
