Overview We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planning Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of day catering, wedding, and social events, from initial planning to execution, to ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. The Event Planning Manager acts a liaison between the customer and catering salesperson to provide direction and supervision during execution of the catering event. This role will be available to customers leading up to and during the event. They will directly serve catering customers in a proactive manner working with the logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, private event space, and billing processes. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- 1-year food and beverage or detailing experience
- Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
- Present a professional appearance and confidence
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
- Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
