Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Coordinator to join Spare Time Entertainment, our established family-owned center located in Clifton Park, NY. With a legacy of providing exceptional entertainment experiences for over 50 years, Spare Time Entertainment continues to be a premier destination for families and corporate groups alike. Our facility features bowling lanes, an arcade, laser tag, and a full-service restaurant, making it the perfect venue for a wide range of events.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Management: As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing event leads from initial inquiry to execution. This includes promptly responding to inquiries, conducting client consultations, understanding their event needs, and providing tailored event proposals.
  2. Event Planning and Coordination: Working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and coordination. This includes creating detailed event timelines, managing budgets, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth execution on the day of the event.
  3. Client Communication: Effective communication is essential in this role. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, addressing their questions, providing updates, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  4. In-House Events: The Event Coordinator will manage in-house catered events, including birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and special events. You will collaborate with our restaurant and entertainment staff to ensure that each event is executed flawlessly and exceeds client expectations.
  5. Venue Promotion: Collaborating with the marketing team, you will contribute to the promotion of Spare Time Entertainment as a premier event venue in the Clifton Park area. This involves showcasing our offerings, highlighting successful events, and leveraging various marketing channels to attract new clients.
Requirements:
  1. Event Coordination Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in event coordination or related roles, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  2. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively are essential for success in this role.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
