Entry-Level Structural/Bridge Engineer |

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Starting Salary Range: $60,000-75,000

EFK Moen, LLC, is a civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional office locations in St. Charles, Missouri, Chicago and Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking an entry-level structural/bridge design engineer for a full-time position in our St. Louis, MO office. Job Description:

The structural/bridge engineer will perform civil engineering design services in a team-oriented environment. Project emphasis is bridge engineering design for both public and private sectors which range in scope from small to multimillion-dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients that include state DOTs and other governmental agencies - municipal, county and state.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive:

• Daily production of structural/bridge design plans, structural calculations, reports, etc.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and schedule
• Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university required
• EIT Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
• DOT project experience
• MicroStation CAD software experience
• Knowledge of structural design software
• Proficiency with Excel and other general office software
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required

Physical Qualifications:

• Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
• Ability to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of time
• Sufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents and software
