Overall Job Summary Tractor Supply Company is currently hiring for our 2024 Summer Distribution Center Internship Program! This is an onsite, 10-12-week program beginning in May 2024.
The Tractor Supply Distribution Center (DC) Internship Program cultivates students' professional and personal growth through exposure to day-to-day operations and people management throughout the DC. The purpose of the program is to develop talent by offering an opportunity to learn firsthand about the organization, our culture, and distribution center operations. We seek highly motivated candidates, who value honesty and teamwork and possess strong leadership skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) - Assignment will be working in any of the following areas:
- Assisting with administrative tasks in area of assignment.
- Working with teams on short and/or long-term projects.
Required Qualifications No experience is required: Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities - Demonstrate strong problem solving, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently, positively handle conflict, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Display detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Access, word processing, and spreadsheets
Working Conditions - Normal office working conditions
- Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement
