Job Summary

The Director of Event Operations, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, holds duties related to day to day operations of a Company conference center account. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior quality of service and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
2. Manages overall day to day operations of the account
3. Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
4. Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
5. Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree, hospitality preferred
2. Five years events/conference center experience
3. Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills
4. Previous experience managing a budget
5. Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
6. Desire to learn and grow with a top notch hospitality company
