Position Summary: Experienced Burners will safely cut steel structure and vessels as directed at heights up to 150 feet with cutting torch equipment for decommissioning and demolition.

In This Role, You Will:

· Work with job foreman to prepare structures, pipes and vessels for lifting or for cutting and downsizing for lifts. Will also cut shackle holes, set cuts, drop cuts, and downsize tanks and vessels.

· Use cold cutting tools such as reciprocal saws, bandsaws and air saws to cut structure, pipes and vessels.

· Use proper rigging techniques to attach crane cables to structure, piping and vessels to lift and lower to ground level.

• Work closely with Equipment Operators to cut and torch steel and metal framework at great heights, up to 50 feet or possibly higher onsite.
• Instruct others in safe demolition practices to mitigate risk and ensure safety best practices are always followed.
• Use tools like hammer drills, oxy-propane cutting equipment (lance torch and bazooka torch), skid steers, bandsaws and reciprocal saws.

What We Require:

• High-school diploma preferred.
• Three or more years of Burner and/or Torch Cutting experience in the Decommissioning and Demolition and/or Industrial Construction industry.
• Previous high work demolition experience required for Burner Level III positions, Level I and II Burner positions available as well.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a consistent burn rate of 25 or more tons per day for Level III Burner positions.
• Current TWIC, 40-hour HAZWOPER, 8-hour refresher, OSHA 10 or 30 training a plus.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC, Safety Council Training and Site Specific work site training is REQUIRED.
• Must be willing and able to work in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectious materials and possible inclement weather conditions.

Job Details:

This position will pay between $25 - $40 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, we pay per diem expenses, room and board, and travel to/from all domestic U.S. projects. The right candidate for this position should be willing to travel and stay near the job site for an extended period of time.
