The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer to join our team in Milford, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming 3D models or blueprints into precision-machined parts. You will oversee the entire process-from programming and setup to inspection and finishing-ensuring high-quality results that meet engineering specifications.

  • Perform tooling setup, basic inspection, and finishing of parts
  • \n
  • Maintain quality standards through adherence to QA procedures
  • \n
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines
  • \n
  • Collaborate across teams to support organizational goals and continuous improvementProgram CNC mills and lathes using manual G-code and CAM software (FeatureCam, MasterCam)
  • \n
  • Plan machining operations based on blueprints, work orders, and material specifications
  • \n

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
    \n
  • 7+ years of CNC machining experience
  • \n
  • Proficiency in tooling selection, speeds, and feeds
  • \n
  • Prototrack mill and CNC lathe operation; familiarity with standard shop equipment
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of GD&T tolerancing and technical documentation
  • \n
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators)
  • \n
  • Ability to build and fabricate welded assemblies from drawings
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; effective communicator
  • \n
  • Must pass background check, drug screen, and driver's abstract
  • \n

  • Experience with horizontal and vertical CNC machines

  • 5+ years CAM software experience (FeatureCam, MasterCam)
  • \n
  • CNC lathe programming and operation (Okuma, Haas, Mazatrol)
  • \n
  • CAM software proficiency (FeatureCam, MasterCam)
  • \n
  • 4-axis CNC programming and operation
  • \n
  • MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication
  • \n
  • 3D CAD surfacing and UG/NX familiarity
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • \n
  • AAS degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • \n
