We have an exciting role available for an
entry level Civil Engineer in our Doylestown, PA office
(open to a hybrid work-from-home schedule) . You will perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R's market sectors in both office-based and field-based assignments.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
- Engineer In Training license
- 0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience
- Engineer In Training license a plus
- Schooling and/or work experience in the following is a plus:
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Erosion and sediment controls
- Stormwater management controls
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ARCGIS
You will gain practical work experience including:
- Preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
- Hydrology and hydraulic drainage calculations
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Stormwater management design and calculations
- Post-Construction Stormwater Management design
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
- Creating 3-D surfaces
- Grading plans
- Profiles/cross-sections
- Pipe networks and corridors
- Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
- Geographic Information System (GIS) software
