About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team. The CFO will be a key figure in overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the organization, ensuring the integrity of all financial operations, and developing strategies for financial growth. This role involves managing budgets, supporting the organization's mission through sound financial stewardship, and working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and leadership team to align financial management with organizational goals. The CFO will also be responsible for compliance with regulatory and funder requirements, as well as managing the Administrative Services team and overseeing facilities, space management, and the organization's store. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the organization's mission and long-term sustainability. They will provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, lead the Finance and Administrative Services teams, and ensure a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. The CFO will also be involved in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and will be the staff liaison to the Finance & Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Collaboration with program and development teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals is a key aspect of the role, as is supporting fundraising efforts through sound financial tracking and reporting.
