Job Summary

Odyssey Contracting is looking for a few energetic and exciting canvassers to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who wants to work part-time or full-time, enjoys working flexible hours, and would like to build a solid foundation for an exciting career in the storm restoration industry.

As a canvasser, you will respond to severe hail and wind storms by canvassing affected neighborhoods and setting appointments for our highly trained Restoration Specialists to do a complete roof and property assessment.

You will also have the option to train under the Restoration Specialist as they perform the assessment, consult with the homeowner, and ultimately make the sale. Success as an canvasser will allow you to become a Restoration Specialist yourself. Our top specialists are currently making 6 FIGURES!

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and close deals
• Assist the marketing department with local level marketing
• Generating original content to use in advertising campaigns in your sales region
• Generate new leads via social, mail, email, and canvassing
• While inspecting, to look for other trades or services the customer may need (upselling)
• Guide the customer through the insurance claims process
• Use software systems to manage your jobs and to track your progress
• Keep with up with industry trends and materials

Requirements

• Have their own dependable transportation
• Be comfortable with knocking on doors and talking with new people on a daily basis
• Convey excitement and energy when communicating
• Be a highly motivated and determined self-starter
