As a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst ( BCBA) , here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan which is individualized to each student.
oversee all aspects of clinical programming for assigned district
work with the treatment team while maintaining direct contact with the child and school administration.
provide assessments, program designs, and monitoring of treatment goals.
provide clinical documentation on treatment plan goals and behavioral progress.
Assist with tasks as assigned by district administration
A few must-haves for Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst ( BCBA) :
master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work)
valid professional license or certification, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical supervisory role
strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
familiarity with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
