Job Description Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and Operating Room (OR) personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery to maximize Image Guided Surgery (IGS) efficiency and usage. Analyze and resolve regional system issues through detailed analysis and critical thinking, utilizing technical training and documentation. Act as regional escalation point and escalate issues in a timely manner. Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical, and IT staff, on the use of IGS products and services. Use expertise and customer feedback to develop plans for quality improvement. Serve as primary customer liaison, managing site visits, maintaining regular contact, assessing satisfaction and usage, and working to increase revenue through service contracts, spare parts, upgrades, etc. Collaborate with Account Managers to evaluate customer situations, sales projects, and identify sales leads. Distribute knowledge throughout the team using technical expertise. Manage knowledge transfer regarding new developments in Brainlab and competitive IGS products through ongoing training and research. Promote Brainlab Support best practices and address knowledge gaps within the team. Promote IGS products and services at trade shows, including developing reference sites. Report and document complaints according to SOP. Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000. Note: Nothing in this description alters your at-will employment status. Additional duties may be assigned at Brainlab's discretion. Qualifications B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role within a healthcare company or provider. Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience. Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology. Proficiency in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a proven ability to make independent decisions.
